Members must comply with the association’s guidelines for safety, ethical business practices, and educational value in all tours.
2. Code of Conduct
Members must uphold integrity, professionalism, and transparency in their dealings with schools, students, parents, and the government.
3. Safety Audits and Certifications
All member agencies will have to follow the safety protocol.
4. Participation in GETOA Events:
Members are required to actively participate in GETOA's meetings, workshops, and events aimed at improving standards and practices in educational tourism.
5. Collaboration with Schools:
Members must work in close collaboration with schools to ensure that tours meet educational objectives, and they should involve qualified educators and subject matter experts in planning.
6. Annual Membership Fee:
All members are required to pay an annual membership fee to support the operations and initiatives of GETOA.
7. Suspension/Termination of Membership
Failure to comply with GETOA’s standards and regulations may result in suspension or termination of membership. Actions such as gross negligence, violation of safety protocols, or unethical practices will lead to disciplinary measures.
